My Story…… I am a mother of 5 beautiful children, originally from England, but have lived in Canada for the past 30+ years. My Shaklee journey began in January 2008 when I was running a home daycare and 2 of my daycare children came down with asthma. I started researching chemicals in household cleaners and was horrified with what I discovered; hundreds of untested chemicals in the products we use daily with nothing on the label informing us of what we are using! Diseases in children becoming common, like asthma and cancer, when years ago it was unheard of, cancer rates in general just sky rocketing. It was very sobering to me. A friend gave me a DVD to watch, called “The Real Dirt on Clean” that Shaklee Corporation had introduced. I watched the DVD and immediately threw out all the toxic products that were in my home and switched to the Get Clean product line. I was so impressed with how well all the products worked that I just had to jump on board in order to be able to offer them to other concerned mothers/fathers/people just like me. Shortly thereafter, I started the basic nutrition program and after just one month, I didn’t have to take afternoon naps any more, my energy levels improved, my feelings of stress subsided (even though my circumstances were the same) and I felt generally happier in myself. So much so that I even got back my capacity to hope and dream again, and that to me was simply amazing, to be effected on that deeper level. Needless to say, that clinched the deal for me. Over time and other Shaklee nutrition products, I have experienced many wonderful things. No more plantar fasciitis, no more hip/joint pain, weight loss, clearer skin, much more energy, better sleep, and the list goes on and on… I would be happy to share with you the Shaklee difference, just ask me!
